Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. The whole earth is experiencing major transition. Nations are facing economic upheaval and empires are crumbling but the Kingdom of our God remains secure and full of riches and resources for the righteous. Therefore let us strive to be steadfast.

You see those that are steadfast are most often firm or settled in their faith, secure as to their identity and strong in their determination to support their brothers and sisters who may still be struggling with life-controlling situations. This means that as believers we must be solid as well as sensitive in our approach and our appeal. Why? Because even though the believer has an inexpressible advantage because of the grace of God it is not until our inner man is rooted and girded in truth found in the Word of God that we experience healing and purging not only in our soul, which houses our emotions, but also in our ability to bear fruit.

Paul’s admonishment to BE STEADFAST shows us our need to implement practices that turn into habits that bring victory over the enemies of Christianity and empower us to impart into one another the strength and stamina found in a good athlete which renders his or her soul fit for fiery trials and temptations. Beloved, an athlete remains steadfast so as to avoid anything and everything associated with feebleness, weakness, sickness, stress, weariness, pain, fainting and impatience.

Therefore during these times of uncertainty, rising prices and declining employment let us stay our course realizing that we have been raised up to stand as ambassadors and the redeemed, delivered from the guilt, power, and pollution of sin, death, the grave and Hell, patterned and preserved by He who was and is and evermore shall be who is the Lord of time and eternity and “He reigneth, He is clothed with majesty; He is clothed with strength; wherewith He hath girded Himself: He is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea than the mighty waves of the sea.”
