Bishop Phyllis
S. Glascoe
Bishop Phyllis S. Glascoe is a pastor, preacher, teacher, wife and mother who is "sold out to Jesus." God commissioned her and her husband, Overseer Cornell P. Glascoe, to establish Shachah World Ministries in Beltsville, Maryland. Shachah, which means to bow one's self down before God, is a healing and deliverance ministry with a dedication to rescue the perishing.
In turmoil, feeling helpless and having no purpose, Bishop Glascoe surrendered to the teachings and doctrines of Jesus Christ that she had learned as a child. With determination to live a victorious and fruitful life, Bishop Glascoe applied the Word of God and God then compelled her to help others out of darkness into His marvelous light by loving them, leading them, and laboring with them.
One of Bishop's favorite passages of scripture is Psalms 40:1-3. God did hear her cry and bought her out of a horrible pit. God did set her feet upon a rock and He did establish her goings. God has put a new song in the mouth of Bishop Phyllis S. Glascoe wherein her desire now is to proclaim the gospel whenever and wherever God gives her the opportunity.
Her preaching and teaching are Bible-based and empowering. She speaks candidly about her battles with financial and material losses, everyday struggles, and the overcoming power of God so that families can be restored, the bound can be set free, and those that yearn a deeper relationship with God can come and experience His love, mercy, and grace.
Bishop Glascoe was licensed to preach the gospel on June 2, 1996 and was ordained on February 11, 2001. She received her Bachelors Degree in Ministry from Andersonville Baptist Seminary Camilla, Georgia and her Masters as well as her Doctorate Degree in Divinity from North Carolina College of Theology.
On June 2, 2004, God led Bishop and Overseer Glascoe to establish a second Shachah World Ministries of the Northern Neck in Lancaster County, Virginia. On July 16, 2004, she was consecrated a Bishop within The Lord’s Churches Fellowship and Ministries International Incorporated.
Bishop and Overseer Glascoe have dedicated their lives and Shachah World Ministries to guiding, growing, and grounding disciples, ambassadors, leaders, and Kingdom citizens to fulfill the Great Commission. To God be the Glory!
